Blue Oak Academy, a charter school under Visalia Unified School District, completed a two-phase expansion and modernization project to better serve its growing student population. The project added a new 10,200-square-foot classroom wing and modernized over 24,000 square feet of existing campus facilities originally built in the 1950s. The upgraded campus includes TK and Kindergarten classrooms, a STEAM/Makerspace, and improved common areas, all designed with natural light and energy efficiency in mind. Safety and accessibility were also prioritized, with features like controlled access, ADA-compliant restrooms, and updated infrastructure systems. Site improvements included expanded parking, stormwater retention, utility upgrades, and off-site street work.
