To support Visalia Unified’s newest middle school, 4Creeks led the civil engineering and surveying for a major street improvement project, reimagining key roadways and intersections for safer, smarter traffic flow. The project delivered new roads, utility extensions, a roundabout, and a traffic signal—laying the groundwork for both school access and future community growth.
Supporting the construction of Visalia Unified’s newest middle school, the City of Visalia needed to rethink and rebuild a key traffic corridor. Our team provided Surveying services and led the Civil Engineering design for a major off-site street improvement project—delivering smart, safe, and lasting infrastructure to support a growing community. The project included the full design and construction of new roadways along Sedona Avenue, Akers Street, and Riggin Avenue, plus a fully integrated roundabout and a new traffic signal at Akers and Riggin, designed in collaboration with TJKM. Our teams managed everything from right-of-way acquisition and legal descriptions to utility coordination with SCE and California Water, while delivering critical extensions to sanitary sewer, water, and storm systems. With updated striping, signage, and improved flow throughout, this corridor now better supports both school traffic and future community growth—exactly what thoughtful infrastructure is all about.
